Tankers with Big Pumps
This page is dedicated to tankers that are equipped with a 1,000 gpm pump or larger. These rigs are meant to haul water first and pump water second. They generally carry minimal engine company equipment and often carry extra water supply equipment - suction hose, jet siphons, dump tanks, etc. Often times, these tankers are used as a "nurse" tanker until a tanker shuttle operation can be set up. A large pump on these tankers can also mean some additional pumping capacity credit in an ISO assessment.
