Another one of our installations in Sheffield, Massachusetts during our August trip. This one on Salisbury Road used our saddle-mount design on a concrete bridge abutment. Water was abundant at the location; lift was right around 12 feet and 15-feet of pipe were used to build the system. A 6-inch NH female ETT suction head and a 6-inch ETT stream strainer were used in the design. The flow test produced just over 1100 gpm using a 1500 gpm pumper. The site is one of five installations that we have in the Town of Sheffield.
Flow test produced a flow in excess of 1100 gpm.
Our saddle mount design allows for a quick and easy installation that is adjustable over time should stream flow depth changes occur.
