Dump Site Operations #27 - The Dump Tank Liner

Another simple but important item....this time regarding dump tank deployment. When deploying a rigid-frame portable dump tank it is important to make sure that the liner is pushed back into each corner so that the liner is evenly (as best as possible) centered in the tank before the first load of water is dumped. If the liner is not evenly lined up in the four corners (and sides) then that first load of water can easily cause a pretty severe load on the rigid frame which probably is then going to result in frame distortion and possibly bend the frame. In the photo shown in this News Story, water was dumped into this dump tank before the liner was tucked back into the corners and the weight of that first load of water distorted the tank frame.
