| Earlier this month, our team completed its 27th dry fire hydrant installation in Harford County, Maryland. This project featured another bridge-mount design, this one located on Walters Mill Road in the Bel Air area. The installation included our angle mount design, an ETT 6-inch female suction head, and an ETT 6-inch teardrop strainer. Ample water was available in the stream, and during testing, a lift of around 13 feet allowed a flow of 1,089 gallons per minute using a 1,500-gallon-per-minute pumper and a 4-1/2 inch suction hose. Since 2019, officials in Harford County—including both government representatives and local fire companies—have focused on improving access to static water supply points in rural areas. We are honored that our products have been selected for much of this important work. |
