On Sunday, September 25th, 30-plus folks from the Cuba Joint Fire District and surrounding areas spent their afternoon hauling water with tankers as part of our 16-hr Rural Water Supply Operations Seminar that was sponsored and hosted by the fire district. Nine tankers, four engines, and two fill sites (6.5 miles roundtrip each) were used to support an uninterrupted flow during the 2-hour drill and a flow of 1000 gpm was maintained during the operation. Because of the uninterrupted 1000 gpm flow, the participants were awarded membership in our 1000 GPM Club! This makes our 13th membership awarded and the third in New York. Excellent work! Instructors for the weekend were Mark Davis and Alan Butsch.
