This morning we completed a performance flow test on our new bridge-mount dry fire hydrant installation in Carroll County, MD. The installation was funded by the County's Department of Public Safety and included the design and installation of our angle-mount system on a bridge over the North Branch of the Patapsco River just outside the City of Westminster. The river provides an abundance of water and the lift at the bridge is rarely any greater than 11-feet. Elevation at the site is 610-feet. The new installation used an ETT Stream Strainer and a 6-inch ETT NST male suction head. Today's flow test produced 1,102 gpm using Westminster Engine 32.
