During a recent dry hydrant installation we came across a pumper that had some simple markings on the rear intakes and discharges. The markings help whomever is connecting the hose to ensure that they are connecting to the right fitting. Initial water supply operations can be stressful times....any little thing that helps reduce the chance of error is a little thing that can really make a difference. So nothing fancy to report here....just sharing a good idea.
