During our July visit in Iowa we came across a Unimog being used as a brush rig at the Floyd FD. The locally fashioned rig carries 250 gallons of water, a small pump, and some hose and hand tools for fighting grass/brush fires. Historically, the Unimog has been used for many different applications throughout the world. We don't often see a "firefighting" application here in the United States.
