The folks in Stanley, Iowa spent June 3rd and 4th refining their water hauling skills during our 16-hr Rural Water Supply Operations Seminar. Chief Rodger Sill and the members of the Stanley FD have worked hard over the years to build an apparatus fleet using government surplus vehicles and equipment - and they have become quite successful. The weekend was spent reviewing the best practices of how to use the various tools and vehicles in terms of improving water supply operations. Sunday's drill used a single-lane tank set-up to support an 800 gpm peak flow. Instructors for the seminar were Mark Davis and Alan Butsch.
