Use #427 for Duct Tape

A wise mechanic one said, "If it is supposed to move but doesn't, use some WD40. If it is not supposed to move but does, use some duct tape." A roll of duct tape should be kept on every fire truck - it has many uses besides firehouse pranks. One such use is to control air leaks during drafting operations. When you don't have time to take apart the fittings but you need to stop the air leak, a few wraps of duct tape will often do the trick! Obviously, duct tape is NOT a long-term fix - but it works just fine on the fire ground.
