In May 2016 we installed three of our swiveling bridge-mount dry fire hydrants in Strafford, New Hampshire. The one shown being installed here on First Crown Point Road presented a challenge due to the lift. However, the water source was excellent and dependable and the fire department chose to forego the lift concern and go with the better access. While we try to keep our installations under the 15-ft lift threshold, there are times in certain areas that the limits have to be pushed some. Our installations do have a 20-ft pipe length limit...otherwise the system is too heavy for stowage and deployment.
